I’m running for the Tarrant Appraisal District Board because good leadership matters. TAD needs board members who are prepared to tackle difficult issues, ask tough questions, listen carefully and do the work required to make sound decisions.I’ve spent my career helping public institutions and complex organizations navigate challenges, build consensus and make important decisions. I’m ready to bring that experience, perspective and work ethic to the TAD Board.Good leadership is not about having the loudest voice in the room. It’s about showing up, being prepared, listening carefully, asking good questions and doing the work.

Experience That Prepared Me to Lead

  • Worked directly with elected school boards, superintendents and leadership teams on complex issues involving public finance, facilities planning and community engagement.

  • Served six years on the Executive Board of Delta Delta Delta Women's Fraternity including four years as chair. Helping guide strategic planning, organizational leadership, financial decisions and a transition to new executive leadership. At the time the nonprofit organization had a net revenue of $50M and total assets of $350M.

  • Led Tri Delta through complex organizational challenges and crises, including regulatory issues, financial misconduct and serious member safety concerns.

  • Negotiated and executed a $60 million, 10-year fundraising commitment between Tri Delta and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the largest commitment to the hospital at that time.

  • Chaired a $754 million school bond campaign and led fundraising and community advocacy efforts to support the successful campaign.

  • Led the Northwest ISD Council of PTAs, representing 7,000 members across 29 campus-based organizations.

  • Served the Fort Worth community on the City of Fort Worth Library Advisory Board and through other local volunteer leadership roles.
